2018 was an unique year - the year in which I didn't buy any watches, the last month being the most difficult one to hold-on with my decision.
The year started with a turbulence, which made me to re prioritize many things in life. Gave up many of my wishes & aspirations, kept a temporary full-stop to my other newly found hobbies, and indeed I was waiting for this year to pass on.
Towards the end, we saw light at the end of the tunnel - new school for kids, saw things moving, which made it apparent that we will relocate to a new location in the forthcoming year. Also many issues that popped up in the beginning of the year, resolved, and we recovered from all of them. The second half of the year saw major changes in our life with our extended family, which seems to be the kind of life we are going to have going forward, at least for a long time to come (as it seems at the moment).
Finally, the year moved on, and it also brought a happy news that one of our family member got a good job.
The whole month of December was almost vacation for me, due to the leave policies of my current employer. I had the longest vacation in my native after 14 years, with 11 consecutive days in native, and started the year in my native.
My vacation in native was a memorable one, with many a things happening:
1. Cycling for Rosa - without much effort from my side, she beautifully rode the cycle
2. I went for many rounds in my Hercules CAPTAIN cycle
3. Sai-Baba temple visit (near the Jail corner)
4. Many outings with my friend, little friends (this time 3 little friends) and with Appa
5. Junction rail museum visit - a happy family outing
6. Several visits to many shopping areas.
Welcome 2019.
- Raja.
